Premier League 2022/23 (Part 1)

19? How?

The groups are larger in the early stages, I believe.

But most opponents are from a different calibre than in the CL so rotation is easier.

Less 12:30 starts on Saturday is a plus too.

Yes, I don’t like the 12.30 kick off on Saturday or the 17.30 kick off.

Think they changed it with the introduction of the ECL.

Win your EL group and its 12 games to the final.

Finishing second in the group means an additional k.o. round against a team who finished third in the CL group stage.

A Bournemouth win and a Leeds win today would be good

And Roy. Go Roy!

Peter Drury just referred to Sam Allardyce as “King Sam the First.”

The first is possible, the second …?

Nah.

Yeah, Lampard going to make it 11 in a row.

Oops. :man_facepalming:

None of these games are taking my fancy and convincing me to stop work to watch them. Can anyone offer an argument for why I should try any particular game?

Maybe Wolves vs Villa hoping for Emery to drop points?

Lampard has been a success in his spell as a Chelsea manager , he’s managing to not get them relegated

Wolves have scored against Villa

Who’s that gal following Lampard with a defibrillator?

Sadly, they won’t even let him try next season.

Of the London train wrecks, somehow I prefer watching Totts v. Palace.

Shitty 1-0, Gundagon

Bournemouth equalise. Normality resumes
