Definitely missing Saka. The only way they can really put City under the cosh is with both Saka and Martinelli

SMS Message: As long suffering Spurs fan hit with belief and optimism, inexplicably I suddenly don’t want Arsenal to get thrashed. A nice goalless draw so they both drop points leaving us top seems like the ideal result, especially if we plan to win the league. from Colin

The fact pgmol gave this gave to Oliver after UAE Gate last week should be a scandal even if only for the fuck you of the optics

They have faced the controversy and just totally ignored it and pretended the lack of confidence in them can be addressed by treating just throwing a couple of individuals under the bus

We should hve been atleast at 19 points. Feeling so bad with a draw today. One positive thing is atleast we got a point when City got.none. if the title race is between us and Arsenal we will beat them to it.

Todays draw doesn’t bother me, last weeks shit does.

Brighton probably deserved a point, Spurs didn’t.

City acting like shit bag again when it doesn’t go their way.

Tbf it’s frustrating when you don’t get what you paid for.

For me after today’s draw the last week’s result is less bitter. We are just at the brink of challenging for the title and winning it. May be if we end up like this till Jan we will win it. Need a good no.6 if Klopp think Endo isn’t ready yet. Andre from Brazilian league is the man to play at no.6. Hopefully we sign him this Jan. Could be our Fab of the old.

2 things I’ve taken from this game.

  1. It’s good to finally see someone else apart from Klopp prepared to stand up to Fraudiola and not roll over hoping for a tummy rub like most managers do.

  2. My gooner flatmate is going to be un-fucking-bearable tonight - the jammy cunt

City 1 shot on goal today

I am a Liverpool fan. I am biased for Liverpool. This is a Liverpool fan forum. I am a biased Liverpool fan writing on a Liverpool fan forum but there’s no way that I’m looking at those two, erm, incidents with Kovačić through my red-tinted glasses. How the hell Jones and Jota got sent off for roughly the same or worse things in the same match, while Kovačić was allowed to finish this game?!

While I’m happy that Arsenal beat them (to be honest, if we couldn’t win the title and it had to be one of our rivals, I’d pick them as the least of all evils), the fact that they beat them in spite of dreadful referee decisions will only serve to cover up those mistakes. I’m really, really frustrated by all of this.

If I’m not mistaken, we only had one wrong decision go in our favour (Mac Allister’s foul on Bowen that should have been a penalty), while we had dreadful decisions go against us in majority of matches we played so far, with those at Chelsea and Tottenham costing us dearly. That table would have looked at lot nicer had we had three more points that were taken away from us.

I’m convinced that the match-officials have dropped any pretense of doing their job and are just fooling around. One would have thought that they would be serious/careful after getting caught in the Diaz Gate. How can a referee not show a card for a penalty worthy foul? Some one you have mentioned the Kovacic foul, what about Walker kicking the shin of Martinelli and getting away with it? Then, there were questionable decisions for Sandcastle too.
