Premier League 2023/24 (Part 1)

Knowing that there is corruption at every level of that league, why would one still be surprised or angered by such news?

FYI Thus far, we have played a harder schedule than the three sides above us. By my count, six of our eight matches have been played against top half of the table sides, four of those away. ManC and Spurs have feasted on promoted sides - which we haven’t played, while Arsenal have played more matches against bottom half, non promoted sides than us, Spurs or ManC.

I find it ridiculous that the above scenario is considered as offside.

Tyler adams returned from his hamstring surgery last month for a 20min sub appearance in a league cup game. He felt something in that game has been out since and just underwent a second surgery on it. He’s now going to be out until probably March.

The one good piece of transfer business Chelsea did this summer.

It is though, rather an automated system deciding it instead of what cost us a few months back.

When people say the player has to be fully off side I just find that as unsatisfying as this rule.

It wouldnt have changed anything with the diaz fuck up. The semi autonomous offside still requires communication to the on pitch officials and that is where the fuck up occurred. The actual decision the VAR booth came to was correct.

As for offside being nit picky, I dont see an issue with the example shown. He is 3/4 of a leg behind the the last defender

They claim.

You’d have a lot less talking in my view, basically just confirmation the system was loading.

Ederson being rested at The Cheaters game… C’mon Brighton

MIlner has a tough assignment against Doku.

But knowing the Ribena Man, he’ll cause problems to Doku. An early rough up challenge should do.

Both Manc sides will lose today, Arse and Chavs will draw.

The Cheaters and Sandcastle both go a goal up

Alvarez looked like he fluffed the kick for the goal. Lucky.

SUBSTITUTION

Man City 1-0 Brighton

Evan Ferguson, who turned 19 on Thursday, on for Danny Welbeck who cannot carry on after going down injured.

Moments later James Milner goes in hard on the dangerous Jeremy Doku

I may have been a bit hasty.

GOAL - Man City 2-0 Brighton

Erling Haaland

Mistake by Baleba, but was a piledriver by Haaland. No chance for their keeper.

He’d done two or three wonderful things before then. One time received the ball under pressure right outside his box the. A few seconds later had worked his way all the way to the final third running at the city defense. And then he does that :see_no_evil:

Sandcastle 2-0 up

Edit: make that 3-0 up :0(

That’s me for the day… until Eric Ten Nine Eight puts his boys out later :0)
