Premier League 2023/24 (Part 1)

Hope Wolves win.

Brighton’s disgraceful approach and performance. Especially considering how they set up against us and most other teams.

Two big chances for Mitoma. The first, he should have either chipped Ortega or taken it around him.

It’s been coming.

Scuffed shot by Fati, but makes the game interesting again.

Shitty had a good chance just before that goal.

Come on you fucking seagull fucks.

You’d take a Desmond all day here.

Be under no illusions - Spurs will fall away. We’ve seen it time and time again with teams who start the season white hot, but ultimately their flaws show and their small squad proves the difference.

They’ll finish in the CL places, but will be nowhere near the top come next May. City are our main rivals and no mistake.

Get in Wolves!

More egg left on the face of that blurt, Foley.

Cant be long now before Kompany is shown the door.

Nah, he’s golden for a year or two more, I reckon. They dominated the Championship last season, that’ll buy him another season down there.

Jack the Lad. Obvious it came off him for the throw. Gets right in the assistant’s face. Deserved yellow

I wouldn’t rule out Tottenham simply because I remember us being in a similar position in 2013/14, only with the quality being better distributed across the squad. They’ll have to be perfect to stop Man City, though.

Too bad about March. He’s been very good.

I see. We got to play 9 extra minutes when it should have been 5 and Cheaty get 4 mins when it should’ve been 9.

I know I know. The 5th stage is acceptance

And us. Don’t rule us out yet. Our squad will continue to get better as the season rolls on. Have a feeling we’re gonna go on a bit of a run through to Jan. We’ll be at or near the top come May, and might have a cup or two as well.

City just hanging on

Two hands. Second yellow. Brighton need to go for it

Akanji will miss City’s victory over Man U next week.

Fair play to Brighton for giving it a proper go in the end. City look very wobbly, not the force they were last season at all.

Obviously the dust will settle and the picture will become clearer at the end of December, but it’s looking like there could be four or five teams battling it out the rest of the way. I still think City are favorites, because we’ve seen them have wobbles like this before, then rattle off 18 wins on the bounce to win the lot.
