What Iâm saying is that with VAR, especially penalties, we accept that passages of play will be effectively erased from the foul to the next stoppage of play. If the VAR mistake causes the stoppage of play, then there should be some mechanism where that mistake can be reversed, even if thatâs between the start of play after the VAR mistake to the next stoppage of play.
