Wasn’t there a match a few seasons ago (Spurs & Chelsea I think) where one side won 2-0 without having a shot on target all game? Both goals came via OGs.
Something that doesn’t convince me about this Spurs side.
They’re a mostly average side punching way above their weight thanks to their manager, but at the minute they’re just so fucking jammy and that has translated to several points in the league for them.
They have no European commitments, which obviously helps, but you feel that once they pick up an injury or two, they’re gonna struggle.
December will tell the tale for them.
Son out of nowhere.
Yeah I was thinking December is when these teams struggle.
Great minds think a lot!
Spurs with a thin squad I would say.
Good thing for them being without European football and already out of the League Cup.
Ayew gets one back. 4 minutes left.
Checking for handball.
It stands.
I get the doubts about them, but if they win this it will mean they have one of the best 10 game starts in PL history. According to Transfermarket, the joint 7th best. There is lots of context you can add to that (undeserved points against us, a fairly weak schedule), but there is no context you can offer that results in it not being praise worthy.
One of those results is completely bogus.
How do I block "talk sh*t"s Youtube channel again? I’ll throw up if I hear them say “a win is a win” again.
Remember a few seasons ago when Everton were up near the top of the league until around November or so?
Yeah.
That.
It’s worth looking at who they’ve played.
Us and Man Utd at home and Arsenal away (the latter is a good result to be fair) yet we all know about our game and Man Utd are shit.
Sheffield United also threw away a win at home.
There next 6 are generally tough, Wolves away the easiest fixture.
1-0 Brentford
lol
Mbeumo is a baller. Would not be against bringing him home at all.
Home?
Maybe Chelsea can spend another billion pounds in the January window to fix this
Go, Brentford, go !
No red for Caicedo??
