Premier League 2023/24 (Part 1)

Arsenal started today with $100m+ of new signings who have acted to make them a worse side. Who knew they’d have money to spend and still miss Xhaka

What an absolute shit game that was.

Neither of these two deserve to be challenging, and ultimately won’t

Fun game for a Liverpool fan

  • Arsenal limitations exposed and dropped points
  • Newcastle win but don’t impress
  • Newcastle develop even more injury issues

both pretty toothless in the final third…Isak makes a massive difference for them and we still beat them with isak and tonali

Injuries + a one game suspension for Bruno i believe?

I haven’t spoken up on Ange yet, but he can manage.

I get he’s effectively unproven in the big leagues, but I think that’s a consequence of starting your career in a footballing backwater.

I’d be surprised if they’re not 3rd or 4th at the end.

Arsenal have only played Chelsea (I know) away in those big games so when they flip those games in the second half it will be tough.

We will be playing Spurs, City and Newcastle at home.

have to say, this season has seen possibly the worst officiating since VAR introduction

Game is Bournemouth hes missing.

Amen.

It’s like they had a meeting after the Diaz decision and decided, ‘Let’s double down.’

Unless the wind picks up it should be easy

Artetas biggest problem is that he doesn’t have the balls to take risks in away games against the better teams of the league.

Set up for a point today and failed.

Arsenal are too lackadaisical. Their game management is too poor for them to be genuine title contenders imo.

I’m more worried about Newcastle in the long term, but I agree - too many injuries to do much this season.

Add to this, Newcastle’s shithousery is being flagged and pulled apart in our post game

I know that. It’s away at Bournemouth.

They have a very important game against Dortmund in midweek.

And i believe they will be without Anderson, Manquillo, Barnes, Botman, Isak, Targett, Tonali, Murphy and Bruno.

Yeah you could see this from the early time wasting.

There’s been another with more controversy?

The goal is not even arsenal’s most legitimate complaint about the game.
