Premier League 2023/24 (Part 1)

But the first half we did, it was a decent half bar a goal. Second was awful levels of last year.

Tiredness played a part but doesn’t excuse the drop off from some. But I’ve seen that first half in a lot of games we’ve won over the last 7 years it was a decent but not spectacular but we’ve had that throughout Klopp.

I have said it before, they aren’t even pretending anymore :man_shrugging:

Imagine if one or both of Newcastle and ManU finish third in their CL group and join us, Brighton, West Ham and Villa in playing European football on Thursdays.

Think the PL fixutures maker would be fucked with that :joy:

They would solve it rather simply…just move Liverpool to 12.30 on Saturdays…

Nah, they would make us play Monday/Thursday.

Yeah it has to be 3 days so it’s impossible to play Saturday.

Sunday at 12pm however

Sounds likely

Hope he gets back to some sense of well-being soon.

I know how shit it is

Who are the ex players? Why no names?

It’s kept a secret to make sure there is no “undue pressure” on the panel.

Until there is clarity and visibility then I will assume this panel was the entirely impartial trio of Alan Shearer, Jermaine Jenas and an AI recreation of Bobby Robson.

If it was I would expect they would collectively repeatedly forget they were supposed to be biased towards Newcastle.

Half of Gordon’s speed is due to trajectory he throws himself on the floor

Spurs missing some players today :grimacing:

No Darwin…he seems a bit of a sprinter.

I can never understand why set pieces are always allowed to take place after the time added has expired…which other sport allows that? Five minutes added are up and yet a corner is played out…5 minutes are well up. Blow the whistle.

It’s a minimum that’s added on, not a max

The clock in football is just bizarre compared to other sports. If it was played basketball-style with a stopwatch on a 60 minute count, the ball would be in play more than any league has it. As it is, it is really more of a guideline.

Bizarre match. Spurs get one early, felt for about 5 minutes they might dominate, but Wolves are getting at them.

Yes I know but the sport should have transparent timing like every other sport so everyone knows how long left. It will come in eventually I’m convinced
