Its weird they’ve been so good considering that they were so timid in their loss at Anfield.
I expect a small regression from them over the rest of the season - they are outperforming xG in both goals scored and goals conceded which is likely not sustainable but they should expect to be right in the fight for 4th with Spurs, Newcastle and Man Utd.
The best three teams are Liverpool, Man City and Arsenal. I will be shocked if that isn’t the top three at the end of the season.
After that there’s a group of 4-5 teams and Aston Villa are one of them. With a fair wind they can fight for a CL spot, especially if five spots are going to open up.
Villa, Newcastle, Tottenham, Man Utd, and maybe Chelsea, although the latter will need to find some consistency if they want to look higher.
