Premier League 2023/24 (Part 1)

I did like how Man Utd featured on that title run in promo only because they are playing Man City :joy:

City have looked VERY ropey at times this season, and have allowed teams to frustrate them even when Haaland and Foden are playing.

We were fucking flying when we had United turn up at Anfield and shithouse their way to a 0-0. United had been fucking awful in the run up also. It’s not insane to think that United could nick a point here.

Just to rub it in further, Fernandes will score the winner in the luckiest 1-0 win you will ever see.

They could do with a sliver of dignity right now too. A derby draw would be their Xmas Day moment this season.

Didn’t the red cunts beat the blue cunts 3-1 or something a few years ago, at a time when the red cunts were absolute dross?

Derbies can throw up strange results.

Just stick to seeing the future and leaving the hard stuff to us adults.

Yeah under Ole they had some odd results.

They won’t get one tomorrow.

To be honest, I’d be happy with a spanking and some City injuries.

Everton West Ham game had 4 brilliant goals in it tbf…Areola is a very good keeper!!

Soucek’s was outrageous.

You need to own this.

I think they have good chance of staying up, courtesy of EFC.

Everton isn’t getting relegated. Forest might be in trouble but not Everton , They literally are the shit that doesn’t flush. Last season should have been the time.

In memory of my (very) late grandfather, I have dubbed today the “Battle of the Baldies”.

Feel like Pep used his squad in power saving mode most of the time and especially been very careful with KdB since his return. Unleashed him against Luton and they scored 6 and that was without Foden, Rodri, Dias.

Expecting City to go full strength today with the likes of Haaland, Foden, KdB, Silva, Rodri, Dias…

Don’t think we will get ‘rid’ of City by hoping they will drop points against United.

Will have to hope they play a strong team in the next round of the CL (Arsenal would be great) after the international break and then they might drop points in the league.

They have already dropped nineteen points this season.

This media narrative- swallowed hook, line and sinker by people even on this forum- that City are invincible really is tedious.

Who said they are invincible?

Took them two months to drop points again after the draw against Palace in December. Season will be over in two months.

They are in great form in the last 10 games so it looks like it’s going to be very close at the end of the season.

I wouldn’t say they’ve been in great form.

Yes they have more points in the last 10 games than us, but they have not looked good in a number of those games. Once they come up against a team that has a go at them (us next week, and Arsenal after the break) we will see if they are genuine contenders or just been lucky with more teams rolling over for them than us or Arsenal get.
