I feel like weāre all having the same discussion every year at this point of the season. People rightly point out that Man City are beatable (who isnāt?) because they dropped points in some matches but they start dropping them at an alarmingly low rate once the business end of the season arrives.
Their form from February on is what ultimately got them a point ahead of us in 2018/19 and 2021/22. They were also insanely good last season during that period, though Arsenalās collapse meant that they didnāt have to be perfect.
We canāt beat them with all the injuries we have at this moment, so Iāll be happy if donāt lose to them - I think that Arsenal canāt beat them at Etihad regardless of Arsenalās excellent form. That turn of results would give us the advantage over both, provided we manage to beat our other opponents. Our fixture list is more difficult, though, as we have to play Man United, Everton and Aston Villa away. The last time we were in the title race and had to play Man United and Everton at their grounds in the run-in cost us the title.
