Yeah how many times has the surrounding of the ref been talked about and yet still we are bringing rules in.
Thing is the only good business I’ve seen in the league is from Arsenal at an overinflated cost, Man City (though did they need much) and I would say us until our CM was slightly hollowed out.
We need to do more business but I’m not seeing much that impressive elsewhere.
Some would say and the poorest billionaires in the world.
Pretty boring thus far
"In comparison to Liverpool’s senior list on their official website, only 20-year-old Marcelo Pitaluga is omitted by Transfermarkt – and thus, this also means the likes of Ben Doak, Conor Bradley and Tyler Morton are not included.
This will be the same for other youngsters at Premier League clubs and the numbers go to show the work still required from Liverpool before the window closes on September 1."
Another gash article by TIA. To think they wanted shot of the forums because they were concerned about being associated with potential content on them - boot is probably on the other foot now and we are happy to be shot of the main site because of the quality of content on there!
A quick read of some of the squads and I am not sure this part of the article is correct - Utd and Chelsea have more than a few youngsters included in those squads who are probably not serious contenders for playing time. Don’t know whether or not they featured last season either - these obviously also bring down the average age of those squads too.
I think what the transfermarkt squad list shows is that ours probably gives a better reflection as to who is likely to get game time. I would be surprised for example if Utd have not sold or loaned out about a third of that squad by the time the window closes.
Two big chances now Kai has spurned.
Its much more profitable to publish anti-FSG stories than it is to be positive about the new season.
Check out the table in this article which quantifies the points effect of changing managers. Villa was more than a point per match better after engaging Emery. Meanwhile, sacking Tuchel was measurably bad.
The Grauniad has the Mancs finishing above us.
Lol.
Don’t they always?
We usually do better when we are written off.
We’ve got sodding Taylor again as soon as it is our match they seem to run out of refs and we are always left with the two Manchester refs
Is Harry Maguire worth £30M?
Not from me.
I see a really average defender
As long as he isnt emotionally broken, and I think there are real questions about that, he will be very good for West Ham. He is a player who needs to be protected by the system, but in that right system he has shown himself to be very effective.
You would think he would be almost tailor made for a Moyes team.
