Eddie Howe is probably dreading a meeting at the embassy right now.

SMS Message: I’d be intrigued to know the effectiveness of Howe’s substitutions as a stat. A friend, who’s a Bournemouth fan, criticised him for having no plan B whilst he was there, and their substitutions certainly didn’t work against Liverpool. (Cue a Longstaff hat-trick in this game) from Nathan

Schar should be off.

Ref bottled it.

Should have been a red.

I’d say its between them and Tottenham. I’m surprised at the lack of depth in the Newcastle squad

YELLOW CARD

Brighton 3-0 Newcastle

A card is shown to James Milner after he hacks down Anthony Gordon in the Brighton half. Ex-Liverpool on former Everton.

Booooooo!

That was terrible defending by Van Hecke.

A lot of the football seems to have been played in the Brighton box - by Brighton. It’s brilliant. In one fell swoop Newcastle’s midfield is bypassed and exposes their weakness to the counter.

Wilson gets a goal.

Newcastle is not a top 4 team, last year they over achieved.

How did Mitoma miss that one ?

Edit…Trippier just gets a slight touch

Jesus, Sean Longstaff really is an ugly looking rat.

Get in you Seagulls!!!

Lallana and Milner not afraid to get the heavy tackles out. These Sandcastle Cunts probably deserve it.

I agree, but neither are Brighton or Spurs, i still fancy all of them to finish above United and Chelsea ^^

Adding Liverpool, Chelsea and Spurs underachieved too.

Howe won’t last the season.
