Hmm
He didn’t usually have any options at Bournemouth.

Three games lost out of four. I think it’s a safe bet, Newcastle won’t win the league and panic will set in over a top four finish. The Saudis will step up their efforts now to derail our season.
Seriously bbc?
I do agree that he’s a “massive” prick
Hey he shouts at his defenders come on that’s top class keeping
Here’s a summary of how it all went wrong for him:
Poor kid. Looks like his left knee may well lead to persistent injury problems.
Good on Silva (the Fulham one) for tripling down.
That decision was fucking terrible.
Just saw the Nathan Ake goal, nevermind a suspension that decision should be an immediate termination for the VAR referee.
There is no possible way to interpret that goal as onside - yet somehow its been given. Michael Oliver was on VAR I believe. I’ve had enough of VAR fuck ups this season already, especially how they always seem to benefit the same clubs. Fire him.
Oliver was the ref.
Also fuck off the Man City assistant who said it was more onside than Sheff Utds goal last week. Kyle Walker clearly plays McBurnie onside - you don’t get to walk off the pitch off your own volition and then claim you’re not part of the defence. You’re still a defender and you can still play someone onside even if your body is off the pitch.
Everyone knows that, or stepping off the pitch next to the goal would be a defensive tactic.
At least Haaland had the clearness of mind to admit it was offside.
Yes Tony Harrington was the VAR, some bloke from Hartlepool.
Over the last 12 months Tony Harrington has refereed 10 games, comprising 2 EFL Cup games, 3 Championshipgames and 5 Premier League games. In addition he has been the Fourth Official 52 times
Seem that he is at his best as Fourth Official
Oliver looked guilty as sin to be honest.
It will be noted that City won comfortably in the end.
But that decision stopped Fulhams momentum.
It changed the match.
I am not suggesting that Fulham would have won, but in one moment the game changed.
Dreadful decision.
Oliver as culpable as VAR.
would Haaland have agreed the goal was offisde if it had been disallowed though?
Or if they hadn’t of won the game.
It was at the end of injury time for the first half. Big moment and going into the break not being down can make a huge difference (tactics, approach, etc…)
He probably wouldn’t have mentioned it.
Does there actually come a point where , after numerous inexplicable and indefensible decisions , the authorities have to seriously consider scrapping the whole thing just to protect the integrity of the game ? At least if they go back to the Ref being the sole arbiter they will have a better defence of contentious decisions.
I doubt it.
Football is a money pot, the likes of SKY etc need a product that creates discussion and intetest.
Competition means fuck all. Allow the oil baron clubs to buy success outside the rules and smile about it.
Allow the corruption of Qatar having a World Cup and every major nation competing in it.
VAR is just another hour to fill on Monday mornings with dial an accent Gallagher holding court. Ultimately, City benefit from a toally incorrect decision. Utd did vs Wolves. Its corrupt.
Liverpool might compete, might win the PL.
If they do, and last time they did its because of being the actual best.
Not scaffolded by rotten money and cheating officials.
So, no.
VAR stays.
