Premier League 2023/24 (Part 2)

Come on Coleman , Slot in the winner for Newcastle.

Even with 50 injuries I don’t think I’d want Sean Longstaff anywhere near a starting eleven.

Is this Chermiti kid supposed to be any good?

bah , humbug.

Antonio   :man_facepalming:

How has Antonio with that amount of time managed to connect with the ball like that, absolute donkey.

Calvert-Lewin is not a good finisher in any sense really. He’s got the lowest xG to Actual Goals rate in the league by a country mile.

and he was the 5th worst in 2022/2023 despite only playing the equivalent of 13 games.

Did reach the lofty heights of only the 50th worst in 2021/2022 - although he was still a negative against xG

2020/2021 was pretty much up to expectation at -0.3 (he scored 16 that season and has essentially lived off it ever since)

2019/2020

2019/2020 - his most recent season were he was a net positive vs xG

2018/2019

So essentially, compared the average player, he should have scored 63 goals from the positions he has been in but has managed 44.

Oliver Glasner has until Saturday noon to teach his players keeping a clean sheet and score some goals.

Toon dropping points at home to Everton because of a stupid penalty is just plain funny.

Burnley have given themself a small chance of survival with their recent results, win against Everton this weekend and they’re potentially back in the mix with a game against Sheffield United also on the horizon.

West Ham took a quick free kick which got Bowen and Kudus in on goal. Referee was too busy giving an extended explanation of why he was going to book the Spurs player and pulled it back. Referees are absolutely rubbish.

Might be beyond Luton in all probability but they can spring up a surprise , especially if Arsenal have a howler.

Don’t have too many hopes for the City Vs Villa game though.

Isn’t Luton quite a hard place to visit?

Luton are away so would be even better if Arsenal visit there tonight

Even arsenal isn’t as clueless as @TheSweetSilverSong

I wouldn’t be so sure.

In the same week, their womens team turned up with the wrong kit and the men’s team bus got lost on the way to a game.
