Fixed?

If these 2 our supposed to be our biggest threats for top 4, we haven’t got anything to worry about. They’re both absolute shite.

Not that I was worried in the first instance but this confirms it.

Spurs are gonna Spursy

I mean there’s high line and there’s taking the piss.

Such a poor game. Looks as though Spurs have gone backwards and Newcastle are backward.

Spurs have been utterly clueless with the ball. So many bang average players. Son, have some ambition…take the Saudi phone call

Chelsea draw as well.

This is bugging the life out of me, Sky showing the same table.

I think it’s because they’ve scored two more than us.

Correct.

If two teams are level on points, the tie-breakers are goal difference, then goals scored, then head-to-head results.

Hmmm.
I had it in my head that as we’ve not conceded we’d be top.

D’oh

That would be the case on goal average. According to the Premier League:

If any clubs finish with the same number of points, their position in the Premier League table is determined by goal difference, then the number of goals scored, then the team who collected the most points in the head-to-head matches, then who scored most away goals in the head-to-head.

I think after that, there would be a playoff.

Watching Motd2…Lampard’s been on a diet!

Well, if we keep it up for another 35 games, chances are pretty good we will be.

Record is six games played before allowing first goal

Is that our record, or a league record?

League record. Chelsea, though I don’t recall which season. (edit: 2005/06, which makes sense)

Just looked it up, they also had a streak of 6 in 2004-05, but just not at the start of the season.

Don’t know about the latter but for the former, surprisingly no:

That was more of a 2-0 team, they averaged over two goals a game and allowed less than one. Mourinho is still in the business because of the way people think of that team
