Premier League 2024/25 (Part 2)

Arsenal next two games - leicester city away and West ham at home. Easy 6 points for them. Then it’s Forest away and United away. Think Forest will win and they will draw against United. That’s 7 points in 4.

What is telling about this performance is it isnt the result of City’s more familiar failings. There is a play book for how to hurt them, and it is to allow them to have the ball and then cut through the middle quickly when you eventually win it back. Today, City have barely even been in the game. It was really only Arsenal’s 4th than looked like one of those “this is how you beat city” goals.

I said last week only qualifications you need to be a pundit is having played. You don’t need to do any insightful posts on a game just state the bleeding obvious.

This keeper is awful.

He looks like a CB who has been put in goal after the proper one was sent off.

No one who had actually watched City thought they had a notion of getting back into the title race especially the PSG game.

I thought we had a game in hand…BBC table shows both on 23 games…am I in some kind of time warp…

Yesterday was our game in hand. Now this game is over the gap is back to 6 points but we have our game in hand back

A bit like Beluga who looks like a centre back dumped up front.

That’s why I think this might start another serious slide. This was a capitulation.

Arsenal are a much better team than City, but I’d rather have them as our main challengers (if that makes sense)

Thought our game in in hand was the Bitters…

and yet…you could find columns on the prospect

It is but when we play before Arsenal in the same week the game in hand goes not hard to understand.

It is. It’s our next league game a week on Weds, and we’ll go 9 clear if we win it

Yes, but we played yesterday and they didnt. So for 24 hours we had lost our game in hand
