Premier League 2024/25 (Part 2)

On paper todays game should have been hard, Bournemouth looked like a very easy win 2 months back nethier of these things are currently true.

We properly broke City with that win at Anfield

Look who’s chuffed to bits at joining Villa. Steady on Marcus lad, save some of that enthusiasm for the pitch!

Well he has gone from a relegation battle to Champions League football. I can imagine that he finds it rather fortunate.

I hope he gets his career back on track.

Is he eligible to play in the CL? No matter what happened at Utd, he’s been there since he was a wee lad, it wouldn’t have been easy for him to leave.

I think so. He has been in the Europa League but I think they only restrict if it is a loan to another Europa League side.

Yes

Its good to see today that the narrative is Arsenal are on the charge and if they keep it up they can win the league no mention of Liverpool in this scenario.

I do think that Arsenal title thread should probably be changed.

Whingeing bellends or something is more fitting. Because every game has a preceding whinge, thing is they can say they battered Man City but if Foden could pass to a team mate who knows. As it was frankly even and deserved 1-1 at that point.

Want to bang on about Kluivert missing a sitter fair enough but there is another “sliding doors” moment.

Always the bridesmaid?

Nah it’s still too cursey… let’s win it first.

I’m not sure why we need these “comedy” thread titles anyway. Granted, the Man U one is class, but most of them are just a mess.

I asked @ISMF ages ago to change the board settings so that only the thread starter or a moderator could edit thread titles, but he’s been too busy (understandably) to respond.

Yeah Man Utd deserve it to be fair.

No honourable mention for 130 and counting?

I think there was a good player in him. But one who got fucked about because of coaching as well as him thinking he’s better than he actually is.

Somehow seems a trait of players playing for the Manchester clubs. People staying in Liverpool and other areas around there (including the Manchester areas) can possibly point me out that I’m wrong.

I don’t see a work ethic there.

Chelsea bought a decent keeper they may have been in a better place.

Oh wait this is a new guy :see_no_evil:

This has been uneventful to say the least…was going to turn over to the Boro game until I saw no Doak in their squad.

Only football rewards failure so handsomly.

Cucurella taking himself out the situation and then Colwill left with egg on his face.
