I thought Lavia and Caicedo were supposed to be the next big things that we missed out on?
That midfield setup of having one #6 seems doomed to failure ever since Fabinho got exposed for us.
Klopp realised it and shifted to a double pivot of sorts with Trent / Gomez going there in transitions.
Slot pretty much has that double pivot and has possibly made the midfield job more simpler.
The daft cunts at Man Utd and Chelsea still havenât got the memo.

While that might generally be true, I think itâs a bit harsh. Presuming a squad of 25 players, there are always going to be 3 players who donât make it into the matchday squad.

It will not be new to them, Baba Rahman, Lucas Piazon, Van GinkelâŚplayers who they just hoarded for years, hardly played them, loaned them out every single season, I think some of them basically was loaned out for 6,7,8 yearsâŚ

At least according to Eze, the ref admitted his mistake on the disallowed goal, but this is one that wont be reflected in the âVAR errorsâ statistics because by blowing the whistle so early it ruled out VAR being able to do anything
