Premier League 2025/26 (Part 1)

Jamie O’Hara is such a mealy mouthed moany little shite. Blaming us for letting Mo go on a free. You don’t know shit son. Barely a PL player gobbing off on stuff he has no right to opine about.

O’Hara and Cundy.

Worst duo since Milli Vanilli.

I think you misspelt Cundy.

Great post. Just wanted to highlight this part, and say that I hope Xabi Alonso comes in and does this for us for the next cycle. He looks to me as though he has a real vision for the game. He’s not naive, but he’s not snide either.

He has a lot of history with Arteta, similar upbringing and journey and so on. I would love it if he came to us, and the next big managerial rivalry, after Klopp and Guardiola, becomes Alonso and Arteta.

Embedded within the rivalry is not just a battle to win titles and trophies in the here and now, but also a fight for the future of the game.

Arteta has been a significant influence in pursuing marginal gains, and more and more are following. It’s why I have a growing dislike for Arsenal, when I didn’t mind them under Wenger and thought they played great football. But now I see all that expensive talent and depth, and they are a glorified Tony Pulis/Stoke City outfit. Ugh.

Enter Xabi Alonso. Visionary. Tactician. Hard worker. Attention to detail. A man of standards. He takes the bulk of the current Liverpool side, adds some key pieces, and we march right back up to the top of the hill to take what’s ours.

The football romantic in me would love that.

Spurs to finish the day on a relegation spot?

“Welcome in RDZ, glad to have you on board. West Ham have just put us in 18th place, good luck”

Their final run of games is not that forgiving, lots of games against teams scrapping for placement. Wolves on 4/25 is a must-win, and notwithstanding the beating the Hammers just put on them, Wolves have been much tougher since January. Leeds at WHL may still matter for Leeds. Even then, I am not sure that 36 points will be enough to survive.

Bournemouth leading at Arsenal and it’s a pretty cool stat - Kroupi’s goal means he’s the first teenager to get in double figures in his first prem season since Robbie Keane in 99-00

Arsenal have been really poor. They look as unenthused as we did the last month of last season. The only thing they have shown a real interest in is their diving to win free kicks

Catch it Petrovic, you silly bum.

Hey Arse fans, how’s that quadruple coming along.

Gabriel knows he’s never getting that so he’ll hurt him instead.

5 minutes for what?

5 minutes is the new 2 minutes.

Arses choking up again. If they really end up losing this and Cheaters manage to win at Chelsea, their next home match vs Arses will be so interesting.

Well in Bournemouth  :
