@Sweeting was right…

That was a totally nothing performance from them. You can probably excuse it for the first 75 mins or so as it isnt much different than we’ve seen from them and has been enough for them to get points for the last 12 months or so. But once they went behind something needed to change and they had nothing. That should scare the shit out of everyone related to Arsenal.
I can’t remember where my model had them - 4th I think? They probably won’t get that but they’re only a few points off top 6.
Look at these marginal gains

They’re a very decent chance to finish above Chelsea!!
Have the feeling Chelsea won’t get beaten tomorrow.
yeah you had them at fourth, with the caveat that a few variables would probably see them drop off, and a few lads gave you pelters.
i for one wasnt game to go against you, and its turned out about spot on to what you were saying.
out of interest, where were you at regarding the LFC season, and who did you have as champions?
also, race 4, Randwick…thoughts?
If slot leaves in the summer I would love Iraiola to be our manager, he never moaned when his club sold quite a few stars but the TD always gets him decent replacements who seem to hit the ground running. The one mitigation for Slot he does not play one game a week.
After getting raided in the summer to lose another player as important as Semenyo in January would ordinarily be a gut punch. They havent lost in the 10 games or so since he left
There are always questions about whether someone can raise their standards to meet the elevated expectations after a step up like that, but what he’s done there has been incredibly impressive on every level. Not least because they are one of the few sides left in the league who are a reliably entertaining watch
His contract ends this summer so there are naturally a few rumours floating round that Hughes would like to bring him in
I think I had Liverpool and Arsenal pretty much exactly level with the model giving Arsenal the title on a fraction of a %. Tough to predict how dramatic that drop off would be!
and race 4?
3 home wins in these early afternoon kick offs following by a Chelsea mauling later would round off a lovely weekend.
Come on ref, don’t take the fucking piss here.
Something seriously wrong with Romero. Probably one of the worst headers from Mukiele I’ve ever seen.
Very close from Xhaka, Spurs struggling with long throws.
That might work against him when it comes to so-called big clubs - apparently, he likes to work on a rolling, one-year contract. Maybe it’s because he knows he’s destined for a big job, I can’t say… But I’ve always been impressed with his Bournemouth side. Some article I read in The Athletic about them last year had their pressing game right up there with PSG of all clubs, can’t remember which exact metrics, though… But it served to portray him as someone who likes to play on the front foot.
I said a few months ago that my opinion was it would likely be between him and Alonso in the summer, maybe someone like Fabregas as an outside solution. That hasn’t changed, though I think Bournemouth had some horrendous mid-season wobble when they went on a run with no wins in nine or ten matches. Credit to Iraola for turning it around, though.
Romero is such a consistent player
Can’t be doing that Brobbey. Lucky not to be booked earlier too, very clumsy.
Good stop Kinsky, out quick to block the shot.
Three of the back four booked for Spurs…
Its going to be an interesting last 6 games at the bottom half of the table, mainly because of Spurs and especially if they don’t take full points tonight and remain in bottom 3.
And de zerbi comes off as someone who may add to the soap opera aspect of it if they struggle in his first few games
