Premier League 2025/26 (Part 1)

Yeah pretty much makes it West Ham or Spurs now.

That should see Forest safe. Surprised to see Sunderland getting spanked like this in front of their own fans, particularly because they still had a shot at a Europe spot.

Any other result would make it a match of the season!

I reckon if Forest get another goal or 2, they’ll definitely be good for the 3 points.

I’m pretty sure I recently posted in here that Forest will be gone. Another wayward prediction.

And what evetone forgets is that football isn’t just about the elite level.

It is played throughout the World from young to old and all these stupid ideas would be a nightmare for a linesman without VAR to make a call.

LEAVE THE OFFSIDE RULE ALONE!!!

WH or TH, a win-win choice.

Yup, I had to say to a team mate that it was difficult for the octogenarian to spot an offside and to lay it off.

There is a great deal of football played with no assistant refs at all.

Exactly, so even harder for a single ref to be able to determine dayight or a foot, leave the offside rule alone!!!

ā€œSo what is your personal highlight of the season?ā€

ā€œThat weekend when Forest, West Ham, Wolves and Newcastle all won mateā€

Why do both West Ham Everton and Wolves Spurs have to be 3pm kick offs ffs, literally the 2 biggest games of the season. It’s the de facto decido.

After that result, it seems sort of fair to have West Ham and Tottenham playing at the same time.

Lady commentator on Sky, no idea who she is, saying the initial save by Martinez from Jimenez’s header was ā€œgreatā€, he literally parried it straight back into the danger zone where Sessegnon said thank you very much.

I love seeing Sessegnon playing well again, such a fun wing-back.

Ours spent a while criticizing Jimenez for not doing better with header. They later realized it was actually Lukic and decided Jimenez should have done better to be there to get to the header

Fuck, now I’m annoyed I didn’t realise it was actually Lukic before them.

Ridiculous call by Oliver. Martinez was making the contact with Berge then pushed him off too late. Should be 2-0.

Especially considering all the shenanigans Arsenal pull on corners/set pieces on a per match basis.

Anderson had his arms wrapped around him. It’s an absurd thing to do.

Was the call on Anderson? I thought it was on Berge and contact with Martinez. Walking around the hotel room watching out the corner of my eye with no sound on. Just saw the replays.
