Still remember that day, how I learnt of it and how shattering that day was for the families and the supporters around the world, and the city.

15th April 2026 marks the 37th anniversary of the darkest day in the history of Liverpool Football Club. The Hillsborough disaster claimed 97 innocent lives on this day in 1989.

I will never forget that day seeing young supporters being carried on hoardings gave me a horrible feeling for a long long time. Standing in front of the TV when my wife walked in and saw me crying then she realised I never cry unless it was serious. I will never forget the aftermath and the horrible rag.
RIP to the 97 will never be forgotten.
