Roberto FIRMINO: 2020/21

He even makes that look hard.

He is a Champions League Winner & Loser to boot. Importantly, he has that experience of those encounters somewhere inside of him… as has Salah, Mane etc… If Jurgen thinks the league has gone, with 4th place being good enough to qualify for next seasons competition, maybe, just maybe some of these out-of-form players are being persisted with in the hope of playing them into form for the upcoming CL games… so what if we keep losing a game here and there if the team is being conditioned for the important challenges ahead in the next month or two…!
In Klopp we need to keep believing… he is an intelligent guy that knows what he is doing!

Bobby has been class down the years. We all know this. At the moment, it’s his form that is low. That’s why many of us were crying out for Taki to have been tried in his position before his loan move to give Bobby some time off the pitch and motivate him to get back in form.

As it is, with all our injuries, we no longer have anyone else to come in and do a job, so Bobby has been played to try to get him out of his slump.

Next three games are Sheff Utd, Chelsea and Fulham. Play Bobby against Chelsea, and in the other two games, try Salah and Mane up top with Shaq in the diamond.

This would mix the tactics against the 10 men behind ball teams, and Bobby can try to find his mojo again, which I’m confident he will do.

Firmino, the new Lovren. Wondered who it would be.

Ox has made a strong push as well.

Thought he was excellent against Lipzeig. Yesterday was a bad day at the office. Not just for him but for everyone.
Thing is he has to play. We have no one else. Jota is still injured and Divock is Divock. Still don’t get why Minamino was let go when we only have Divock as back up to a misfiring Bobby.

I think it’s because you can’t really play him in a side that’s lost all it’s height.

Southampton needed to find a quick way to boost shirt sales in the Far East.

Yes, that Chinese market is enormous.

They haven’t got time to buy football shirts; they’re too busy planning on taking over the world.

Oops… wrong thread.

The Chinese have already taken over the world…
Just that not many people have realised it yet

We needed to recoup the 500k we spent on the Preston lad.

He needs a right kick up the nether regions. Too lackadaisical in the way he’s floating around the pitch. Unfortunately one fancy notion working every ten games isn’t good enough. I love Bobby but this isn’t the player that made us tick and he’s hasn’t been for well over a year now. We see flashes every now to give us hope the player is still there but they’re becoming fewer and further between.

Give him until the end of this seasons CL campaign I say… see what happens then really bring the pressure to bear on him if he doesn’t return to his old self

He’s better when he doesn’t look where he’s shooting,we should blindfold him before the game.

He’s better when doing the no look shooting!

He is down in the dumps but he is far from being finished. Nothing a good rest and a solid preseason can’t fix.

He is better when we have VvD and Matip at the back.

Fabinho shielding counter attacks from the #6 position.

Robbo and Trent being able to run the wings up and down.

Henderson and Gini running their socks off from the #8 positions (Thiago and Jones are not able to do that).

Making Firmino the scapegoat is bullshit.
