Gandhi was well known for his pacifist role and what he achieved in life but Britain left India more due to the effects of WW2, the damage and cost incurred and the loss of prestige of the Empire. They put down the Indian National Congress in '42 and their wish to leave India but over the course of the war had to promise that India would be given Independence. Now that’s not to say the role of Gandhi and Nehru is diminished, they played massive roles, but there is fallacy to credit the withdrawal of the British only to the role of Gandhi. Bear in mind also, that Gandhi also made sure never to hinder the war effort and that India contributed massively, and willingly for the most part, to Imperial Britain.
Anyway, we digress. If Russia succeeds, Moldova is next. Simple as. Putin will use the Transnistria region with its ethnic Russian population as a pretext. Then, who knows. At some point a line has to be drawn as the boundaries are going to be pushed further and further.

Short of a complete collapse in his own army I’m honestly struggling to see any peaceful resolution. Maybe the answer lies there. Getting into the minds of his soldiers?
My lord the UK is pathetic.
So pathetic it stinks to high heaven
But not surprising.
The torries can’t bring in any genuine punishments until their donors and ruling overlords have the chance to get their cash out of UK
My lord the UK is pathetic.
