He is right. I was studying List of equipment of the Russian Ground Forces - Wikipedia last night and comparing it with Attack On Europe: Documenting Equipment Losses During The 2022 Russian Invasion Of Ukraine - Oryx .
Some very note worthy degradation of RU armoured combat power. Losing approx 50 armour pieces per day is not sustainable in the long term. If Ukraine can manage to hold the Russians for at least several more weeks, they will be approaching catastrophic losses. It’s good equipment they lose too. Much of it new kit.
On the drone that fell in Zagreb:
They digged it out (14 metres long in the ground) and confirmed today that it carried certain pieces of a bomb. So it means that so far, it wasn’t only aimed for reconnaissance purpose.
Black box (or flight recorder) has been saved (even if it’s slightly damaged) and will hopefully reveal more stuff.
So far, the official statement is that it flew for a few minutes in Romania, 40 minutes in Hungary and 7 minutes in Croatia before falling in it’s capital, Zagreb.
They’re demanding reponses from Romania and Hungary, especially the latter, why there was no alarm towards Croatia for such a long time. It flew at an altitude of 1300km’s at a speed of 700 km/h.
They still can’t tell if it was from Russia’s or maybe even Ukraine’s side.
Thanks for the update !
And so he cheats again…

Maybe, maybe not. I am always cautious of optimism, but note very many generals who observe thinks the same.
I am going to read it now.
I’ve met several of them. Some are among my close friends. Don’t fall in the trap of painting everyone with the same brush. That’s how mindless hate awakens, and nothing good can result from it.
Edit: just realising that you are probably talking about the wealthy Russian tourists only. Can’ t talk about them as I’ve never met one.
It has to end somehow and Russia is not going to simply give up and retreat home.
I am trying to think of a way to solve this problem and I don’t appreciate your tone. I’m not suggesting that Ukraine accepts defeat, but it isn’t going to get everything it wants either. The Russians would probably consider anything other than the total capitulation of Ukraine to be a defeat for them, so where do we find common ground?
