I am not going to continue this debate, but categorically denounce what you wrote and will leave it at that. I hope you did not think it through.

I just found this…

Putin dies and goes to hell. Because of good behavior, he is allowed out for a few days and goes to Moscow, where he visits a bar. He orders a vodka shot and asks:

  • Does Crimea belong to us?
  • Belongs to us.
  • And Donbas and Kyiv?
  • US.
  • Perfect. How much is it?
  • 5 euros.

Well…

The jury has been out on the tank for a good long while now. I just wonder if this is the death knell for the MBT and armored cavalry in its current guise. Even conventional warfare has a rapidly developing assymetrical slant to it with the advance in anti armour missiles and UAV delivery systems. There will always be a need for armour for the mobility of it but in a contested battlefield and contested airspace, it’s hard to see them as they are now as anything other than mostly being metal coffins.

Just blow it up. Let him work out who to sue in court.

I did think about saying that myself…I’m sure someone could find a drone or something to accidently blow it up.

Just heard from friends that the university of Milan has ordered their literacy classes to stop studying Dostoevsky. I couldn’t believe it, looked it up on internet, and indeed, Le Figaro confirms it in an article from four days ago (Milan university has since then backtracked). In Florence, some idiots want to take off a statue of the author.

I’ve always thought that war reveals the most stupid and vile aspects of human nature. This is another proof of it.

I thought that decision had been quickly, and rightly, reversed?

This thread is quality but too long to post, so using copy paste:

Yeah indeed, fortunately so. Still, some courses about Dostoevsky’s work have been suppressed because the university wanted the professor to add Ukrainian authors to his course. He refused and chalked the courses off. He said that his theme was Dostoevsky and the Russian literacy, and that he didn’t feel competent enough to talk about Ukrainian literacy.
