Understood. People have been hammering BoJo in the UK, but he’s still the PM, still calling the shots. His coalition partners can distance themselves all they wish, but as long as they remain coalition partners, they are allowing Scholz to define Germany’s current position.

Sure. It’s an open, very public fight for the direction atm. I think they’re still trying to move Scholz, but he’s a fricking glacier.
It’s not exactly ideal to change leadership in war times, but fricking hell, I for one have had it with Scholz. There’s a time and a place for his approach to politics, but this isn’t one of them.

No, it didn’t, all good mate, I agree with what you’re saying and am as frustrated as you are, I’m sure you can tell.
When I hear about other countries controversial policy decisions I usually want to know if there is widespread support, in the public, media, the poltical class/parties etc or if it’s controversial and contested inside that country as well, I think it matters. Just wanted to add that. I know you’re pretty well informed.
