Russian War Crimes (Part 1)

Well , it’s a good question. I only know the Russians planned this for more than a year. So they have to have planned it well with contingencies. But what ? I have no idea.

probably much too late, but that’s a lot of cash…

The war has moved quickly but the Russians are paying dearly in blood. They want this done asap and they might have so many more troops not engaged but I think they’ve bet the house on this ending by this weekend. All the more reason to keep continuance of government in another location and defend Kiev tooth and nail. What a clusterfuck to have a make a decision with people’s lives like that, though. Fuck the Russians, ffs.

Use it all on MANPADS and Javelins. One guy with an AK is just a grunt. One guy with an AK and the ability to destroy an aircraft or halt an armored column evens up the odds a bit.

I am not entirely convinced they thought it would be almost over now. Considering they are holding back 2/3 almost of their force, attacking tonight with a portion of reserves against Kyiv and not yet used EWAR. Also holding back much long range fires still. For what purpose ? It must have a purpose. Also, yesterday, Chechnya marshalled as seen above. Thousands are coming of kadyrov’s boys. Why were they not sent in first ? frightening warriors and war criminals. They demoralise enemies.

So I would be catious with assessment yet. So many unknowns still. Russia is hiding so much. And we have seen evidence of a large scale para assault being planned now. Much larger than yesterday.

Yes, analysis of a fluid situation is like taking a stab in the dark. My own take on the situation is that they failed to achieve their initial objectives as quickly as they thought they would and underestimated the ferocity of Ukrainian defence and the actual will to defend which in alot cases is just as important as the actual means.

I would go so far as to say there has been an intelligence miscalculation re how Ukrainians would react and Putin’s personal calls for them to lay down arms was something they truly thought would happen once such an overwhelming force was unleashed. They’ve kept up internet because they hoped fear would take hold and will to fight would evaporate imo but instead we’ve seen now that events like Snake Island has galvanized fighting spirit even more (have to say, there should be an epitaph placed on that spot to last centuries, truly the bravest and maddest thing in the face of certain death. Leonidas would be proud).

In all, they have aimed a decapitatation strike not expecting such a fierce resistance while keeping most infrastructure intact so they can do what they need to do when they’ve taken over. Would not surprise me if they already have some lacky ready to stand in front of the cameras to declare himself President within hours of the war being over.

It’s still moving quickly and they might yet achieve the time frame that they wanted but I think the additional mobilisations now is a realization that the Ukrainians will stand and fight.

My opinion, in any case.

Is India getting a free sub?

Ha. Nah, I’m cool.

Just need a moment to readjust to a world where people are casually talking about a direct military confrontation with a military nuclear superpower. Give me a day or two.

This is by the way the account of the Antonov company. Seems they were insulted when Russian paras tried to steal their jet (worlds biggest).

The UNSC in itself is shit. Self Appointed nations doing the biggest war-crimes themselves and then having the power to veto any military actions as they see fit.

About India not condemning Russia, I’m really not surprised. India has had good relationship with Russia since the time of it’s independence. Despite India being a part of QUAD, They really aren’t going to cut ties with Russia or rather aren’t in a position to cut ties with Russia.

India and UAE abstaining? Remarkable that countries are condoning illegal invasions and the killing of civilians.

It looks like Kyiv will be surrounded come the morning. Russians are gaining more and more ground in the city, and then doctrine is encirclement.

I mean, have a listen…
