Just finished watching Scholz speech. Mightily impressive. Earthquake. Proud that it’s the Social Democrats doing this and interesting to see how the fiscal conservative arguments of CDU were torpedoed.
Germany may be a major Security Force again. The support for Ukraine and how far sanctions go is mightily impressive. Perhaps fooling Germany and blatant lying was not so wise by putin:

I don’t think Belorusian soldiers have ever particularly impressed on the world stage but Putin is just throwing the kitchen sink at the Ukrainians now.
The idea that Belorusian troops can successfully land paratroopers and beat Ukrainian ground forces - when Russian soldiers have failed to do that - is fanciful though.
Yeah, that will change now sadly that the short victorious war did not materialise.
