Russian War Crimes (Part 2)

You’re probably right. Without the UK there to marshall the troops, Germany and France don’t know what the fuck to do

The cynic in me thinks that statement is all about the rather important elections in my state on Sunday. Trying to appeal to the “we need more talks with Putin, peace good, weapons bad” crowd, that are prone to the kind of thinking you described.

Agree, I was just about to post that. Let’s see what happens after the election.

I’m wondering: how is NATO membership determined for potential new candidates? Does it need 100% approval of all member states, or a majority?

Yeah, I start to get the feeling that this guy is far from what you need in the current circumstances. He might be a good Kanzler for peace time, but he’s obviously at odds with the situation.

Everyone has to agree. 100%. I actually expected Hungary to disagree tbh. I am a bit surprised about Turkey. I guess they want something. But it still won’t happen without Orban.

Well… it’s probably as you say. He wants the one or other concession or promise from NATO for him to say yes. Up to the US and the EU now to practice some good old-fashioned Middle-Eastern negotiation with them…

Well… let’s see, they’ll have a lot of work on their hands once they’ll have finished off Ukraine:

  • The Baltic states aren’t real countries and are a part of Russia anyway
  • Finland and Sweden want to join the bad western nazi gang, they need to be eradicated
  • Poland must be denazified too
  • whom else?

They’ll maybe have finished their denazification job in 2200 or something… that is, if Ukraine haven’t obliterated the rest of their troops and war material before.
