Thing is, Ukraine knew about this and stockpiled crucial artillery munitions in advance. Munitions that they desperately need elsewhere on the Eastern Front, but very prudently stockpiled some here to blunt this first Russian echelon.
Evacuation of Ukrainian towns and villages is underway.

Grim stage, where the hysteresis of starving a front for munitions and arms snaps back. Even if the taps turned on today, the situation might not be recoverable.

All the dithering over sending arms to Ukraine might have tilted this war to Russia. I donāt know what has happened to America. I donāt understand how it can look at Putin and shrug its shoulders and say not my problem.
The Republicans have lost their moral compass, geopolitically, both in allowing this, and enabling Israel. Shitshow.
