Defeats or tactical retreats?
Unfortunately the switchblade missed. May have been a couple of casualties but unlikely to have killed the tank.
Tactical retreats due to defeat. It won’t get better I fear, ok it’s not a great surprise however the next UA defensive line is very important. They need to hold that one imo.
UA didn’t have enough artillery when they really needed it. It’s just not possible to drag your feet in these situations.
We’ll see what happens next but it’s not looking good atm.
What changed? Orcs finally getting organized? Simply too many of 'em? UA lacking personnel? All of these?
concentrating their offensive over a smaller front, more impetus and running their supply line through established, entrenched positions (Crimea) and current artillery cannot reach.
somewhat inevitable. UA just doesn’t have the manpower. 700k vs a country of 300mil and seemingly endless resources. ships and air and missiles that cannot be competed with. Russia will take the coastline and strangle the economy of Ukraine
War.
Mainly overwhelming odds and tactic retreats. Let’s hope RU don’t get any significant momentum from this.
Hopefully artillary fire power will start evening out but UA still needs greater sucesses in combatting RU air superiority (which seems to be getting adressed but it’s always seems too late like an after thought).
We knew it was going to get very difficult for UK once the Russians changed tack. UA was prepared for this and have probably held out longer than expected (much longer than I expected) and it’s not over just a new general situation.
I think Ukraine will be able to hold the new line now though. Wouldn’t be surprised if Russia starts taking a few more naval losses given what’s going into Ukraine.
Putin wants that coastline control. then, he controls the export of the largest grain production area in that part of the world.
it’s going to get very expensive to live, soon.
Unfortunately no, interactive experiences are poorly saved by archive software.
You can still read the text, but I don’t think it’s worth it.
(I well got quite tired of constantly reading about the war, I’ll be on read-only mode for some time)
From what I read it’s just a tiny town with 11k people.
