exactly. patience is key. we didn’t/couldn’t afford this to some players who left us, and did quite well in their careers after they departed

Rest is far more important. They should have the confidence from playing for the greatest club in the land anyway.
They will get additional breaks.
With both Copa and Euro, lots of Liverpool players will be busy this summer.
