Football authorities are so afraid to piss off the clubs especially the big ones since that’s where the money is. What is so difficult for the authorities as the name suggest to just hit the fans where it hurts? Ban all Celtic fans from watching home matches, soon the majority will turn on the idiots who are ruining it for everyone else and fine the club, heavily, and dock their points now so they lose the title. I don’t understand the idea that punish them with token punishments and hoping they will change? Repeat offenders should have no mercy shown. If the club and the other fans don’t like it, they will need to do more to weed out these idiots or else collective punishment it is for these football clubs

And I have long heard about the animosity between some Scottish clubs of different religious affiliation but honestly these idiots are probably using these affiliation as a front to abuse people. This is as bad as racism in football and authorities are doing shit or at least not punitive enough

I haven’t had the Scottish football on our streaming service for a couple of years. I was thinking about it as my son’s old classmate is now the Falkirk goalie. You just have to appreciate that Scottish Rules Football does exist in its own parallel universe.

Back to the usual 2 horse race, with both of being embarrassingly shit in Europe
Only 2 Scots in the 2 starting XIs and surely that is part of the problem. Rather buy 3rd rate foreigners than concentrate on developing home grown talent.

Scottish football has been suffering since Souness’ time with them.
Rangers exploited the European ban on English clubs.
Towards the end of Rangers dominance, Celtic and other Scottish clubs started bringing in cheap foreign imports.
Scottish youth football no doubt suffered with youngsters struggling to develop into starters.
Then Bosman compounded it.
Changed days indeed from my young days where just about every top English club had at least 2 or 3 Scottish stars.
I dont think Scottish football has ever recovered.
