Serie A Discussion

The day after, Milan updated the squad info on their official website to list him as a goalie :joy:

Fabrizio Corona has named Tonali, Fagioli, Zanioli and Zalewski in this betting scandal. Says he has as many as fifty names, including the chairman of a southern Italian club (so, Napoli, Lecce or Salernitana?).

Fagioli left Italy’s training camp and has admitted to betting on games but not his own. I thought I read Tonali said he’s only betting on blackjack but I can’t seem to find that article so maybe I dreamt it.

Yeah, both Zaniolo and Tonali are claiming their betting was only casino style gambling, but the allegations against Zaniolo are that he bet on his own games (albeit one he didnt play in) and was involved in the organization of an illegal betting ring.

The 22-year-old will also have to have therapy for his gambling problem.

What has happened to Milan! And Leao!

Who cares!

You came all the way to this thread just to say that :joy:

I actually thought the pen Udinese scored from, was a dive. What do I know!!

Very lackluster side, probably missing Theo so the responsibility to create something solely falls on Leao’s shoulders…Jovic and Giroud up top in this day and age is like playing with 9 men.

Milan’s funk continues. They just don’t have the same free-flowing attack they did a couple of months ago, but they are still trying it. Leao’s frustration is starting to become obvious in his body language.

Unbelievable goal by Kovalenko to win it in Naples in stoppage time.

Sad to see their title defence like this after winning is so comfortably last season.

Holy SHIT!! DiMarco for Inter :star_struck::star_struck:

On the sprint, down the left wing and under pressure, Fede DiMarco takes one look up (sees keeper is a bit out of position) and JUST after crossing the halfway line hits a lofted shot . Keeper tracks back but the angle of the dipping ball and the pace on it means it’s impossible to save.

One of the best long distance goals…anywhere…ever!!

No…just one of the BEST top-flight goals…EVER!

Mazzarri returns to Napoli. From one disaster appointment to another.

Forgot he existed. 10 years after he was last there. Napoli have gone full circle.

didn’t we see something similar involving an Inter player from the far sideline beating Leno a few years back?

also, Xabi wants a word…

Nah mate Xabi had time to line it up and wasn’t on a dead run on the wing. Thus one was a level above. Especially as the keeper got a hand to it and still couldn’t keep it out

Watching Milan v. Fiorentina, it’s Arthur! Playing football!

On loan from Juve as it turns out. Hope he can turn his career around.

You know, that sort of figures…

Yup, perfectly apt :joy:
