As special advisor to the owner, that is sort of the problem. What he does is or is responsible for is unclear, but there has been some really erratic decision-making from the owners. The late season collapse was a disaster, but ditching Allegri for Amorim doesn’t fill me with confidence.

As a Milan fan, I am finding the beginning of the Amorim era a little bewildering. I am pre-disposed to expect failure. Credible win against Torino in Turin is a solid start.
It is interesting to see that the club seems to be accepting the idea that Amorim has a system and needs both the right players to make it work and the time to implement it. Much lower near-term expectations than at ManU, and seemingly a greater willingness to move on from the existing names - certainly doesn’t look like there is a way back for Leao.

Loads, actually. Management seems to have gone all in on Amorim, and abandoned the idea that the 2022 Scudetto team was laying a foundation. Alphado Cisse is probably the most promising young player, but there are quite a few young players making the game day list.
Reports have Leao moving to Galatasaray, which is probably the right move for both parties at this point, but sad nonetheless - Leao will never become the player he could have been

Fairly interesting start to the season, just four teams on two wins after two rounds and two of them (Milan and Juve) meet this weekend. With Napoli going to Inter, Napoli risks seeing a 2-game gap to the leaders after just 3 rounds, so I expect that will be a scrappy match. Overall, it is probably a more interesting weekend in Serie A than the PL
