Serie A Discussion

Allegri’s pragmatism still providing results.

This Yildiz kid looks like a very good talent. Turkey have some exciting players between the lines.

Signs a new contract with Juventus until 2030.

Milan losing to Parma this weekend probably just about kills off any real chance at a title race. Inter up 10 points now with 12 matches left.

unless they ‘bottle it’ like a bunch of ‘bottlers’

This Inter side isn’t showing many signs of that. In Serie A at least, they are on a ruthless streak, their GD of 41 is damn near double the next best. They just aren’t losing or drawing the games they should win, and at some point that becomes enough. Sort of remind me of LFC August-November 2024.

Couple of cracking goals in the Roma Juve game. Been really impressed with Franca this season, used a lot as a LB/LWB by Gasperini. If we’re looking for a back up replacement after Robbo that can play both fullback positions then….

& what can you say about Conceicao’s goal, a thing of pure beauty.

& Roma just retaken the lead, wonderful cross by Pellegrini.

Villa shouldn’t have let Malen go, lovely composed dinked finish after running through 1v1.

Wow, Juve have clawed it back to 3-3 in the last min. You love to see it. A wonderful game of proper football.

This was a great semi final.

Allegri out at Milan after a disastrous end of season run that let Como nose them out for 4th place and the CL (by historical standards, this would be akin to Tranmere nosing out LFC for Top 4).

Club really being purged, CEO, technical director, and sporting director all out as well. Not sure who will be hiring the new manager.
