I bet they received more than that to throw the final the other day.

Juric appointed new head coach at Atalanta.

I can see Juric’s Atalanta doing (or remaining) better than Gasperini’s Roma.

Serie A started yesterday and Conte’s Napoli won comfortably away against newly promoted Sassuolo. Mctominey and KDB scored in a 2-0’win. I think they will be favorites to retain the title.

Allegri’s return to a Milan didn’t turn out as expected. They lost 2-1 at San Siro against newly promoted Cremonese.

Depends whose expectations you’re talking about

My own😁 but I reckon most pundits think he’ll do well with Milan, at least bring them back to a top four finish

Watching Como - Lazio for no apparent reason and it seems like Nico Paz is one to watch. Absolute baller, as kids would say.

That was one hell of a turn and pass for the goal by Paz. Saw the clip on reddit: https://www.reddit.com/r/soccer/comments/1mz2wab/nico_pazs_assist_against_lazio_rome/

Then of course he scored a screamer free kick. https://www.reddit.com/r/soccer/comments/1mz2noa/como_2_0_lazio_nico_paz_73_great_goal/

What a sensational goal again from Hakan, wow.

After that disastrous start, I wasn’t expecting much from Milan. They seemed to have turned things around, three wins in a row with an impressive victory at Udinese.

Two of the best midfielders of the last almost decade or so.

Mutual respect.

Luka Modric so far in Serie A 2025/26:

1st - Passes successful (300)
1st - Passes successful in opp half (169)
1st - Line-breaking passes (46)
1st - Possession won (31)
1st - Interceptions (10)

Is that 5 in 7 for Højlund?

4 in 6.

Starting to appear to me the issue seems to be the club not the players.

It wouldn’t entirely surprise me if his numbers would be any worse than Sesko.

Tudor sacked by Juve, Spalletti takes over.

Spalletti played Koopmeiners at LCB in a 3 at the back last night. Poor guy getting thrown eveywhere.

:joy:

Milan derby? Yes please. Time to round of the weekend with some proper football.

Another season, another tightly contested title race.

Been all Inter this half, Milan have struggled to get anything going offensively. Should be 2 up but not for 2 superb saves by Maignan.

What is Sommer doing there, pushing away the ball that’s going about 5 yards wide, straight into the path of Pulisic who has a tap in.

Love a good VAR review, Pavlovic stands on Thuram’s foot in the box after he got the cross away. Pen given. Maignan saves, some game he’s having here.

Yes Inter looking good…..nothing we can’t handle when we turn up in a couple of weeks…well…
