We play well, we win. Sometimes we win when we play like shit as well, Otherwise we lose.
It’s only Nikola and his track record of transfer threads that gets the scorn.

We draw or lose, and it is early season teething problems, as new players bed in. The Isak drama will be coming to a conclusion too, so hopefully signing him will help us get over our introspection if it’s an unfortunate result.

Someone posted in the match thread that it’s the title race done if we don’t win. Dunno if it was a joke
You do realise that we are football fans. It’s a pastime that can turn the most rationally minded individuals into superstitious worrywarts, thinking that their pre-match ritual, magic T-shirt, or lucky heather is going to effect a football match potentially taking place hundreds of miles away.
… and don’t think I will be starting the match thread after the Plymouth debacle!

Yeah, a mate of mine gave me a pair of red socks for my birthday, supposedly somehow connected to my LFC obsession.
I didn’t wear them for the Bournemouth match because it was 35°, and I didn’t wear them for the Newcastle game. Now I think I better not wear them at all. Then again, I saw both matches in the pub, so that might have been it.
Will be in the pub without red socks on Sunday.

Never opened a match thread before, and totally bad call to put a rookie on thread duty when we need a win. If a rookie should open threads at some point, it should start with a dead rubber game, then promote if it works.
Equally poor decision is to put someone whose track record led to a thread named “should germanred open match threads?”.
All jokes aside, why do I remember you being one of the main match thread openers in our title winning season with Klopp?
It all went downhill from there though, meaning you opening match threads.
Seriously now, who’s got a great track record and willing to risk ruining it, for the team’s sake?

I remember not too long back when @Quicksand opened a match thread and we won… and he opened the next one, and we won again… and this went on for about twenty games consecutively with us winning every single one…
Then, for some reason, another poster took it upon themselves to jump into this winning streak, and unceremoniously and quite unperturbed, opened a match thread in the middle of this gold streak we were on… Yes, you guessed it.. the team got beat..!
Maybe Q/S would honour us again and open a thread asap..
