Yes, that’s my method too.
Basically you get a lot more control here. Unread will just highlight the threads you’ve been active in, which might work for some people.

You can also set entire categories to show up (or not) in the unread page.

Being a bit of a curmudgeon, I wasn’t initially impressed with moving away from TIA and the idea of a new format but - having now used it for a few weeks - I think it is a big improvement and the mod squad deserve a big congratulations for all their efforts building our nice new home and then shifting us all over.

Just checking that you guys see the default screen when on a desktop.
It should be categories on the left, and latest on the right hand side of screen.
