I think it makes sense to start a new thread (no pun intended) as we open this up to social media platforms outside of Twitter, which as I type this is dying on its arse. It’s also a good opportunity to remind of the rules, as below.
As a preface to that, though, would point out the part about fan site news aggregators and the point about seeking out the original source of those rumours and linking to them instead.
This is a thread designated exclusively for posting social media links that contain transfer rumours.
Read the previous messages in this thread before posting in order to prevent double or triple posts.
Check the source of the rumour and post before re-posting it here.
Banned and unwanted sources are the same as in The Unreliable Rumours Thread, with the inclusion of pages which aggregate rumours from other sites (Liverpool Echo rumour aggregator included). Failure to adhere to these rules will result in posters being handed infraction points or bans in case of posting from forbidden sources.
Banned sources (posting links to them will result in an immediate ban):
The S-n
K-pTalk
Liverpool-k*p
Very unreliable and unwanted sources (posters are strongly discouraged from posting their almost comical, sensationalist transfer rumours):
Caught Offside
Metro
Daily Star
Talksport
Fichajes
Sportmediaset
Tuttomercatoweb
Calciomercato
Tribal Football
Duncan Castles
Tancredi Palmeri
Nicolo Schira
IndyKaila
GrizzKhan
Francois Plateau
Various rumour aggregators that will inevitably contain material linking to some of the aforementioned websites
Various sites which take money by relaying rumours from other sites or rehash old rumours - these will be added to this page at a later date
Also, we strongly discourage posting messages from sources who are known to copy and paste content that is exclusively published by reputable journalists and pass it as their own, usually just crediting the original source by simply including hers or his social media handle or name in brackets at the end of the post. Please find the original source and quote their message whenever possible. It’s not that difficult and it’s respectful towards the hours and effort they put into their work.
