Sparta Prague vs Liverpool: Europa League, R16, March 7 Thursday, 17:45

Just aggregate, just teams not used to European competition complained about it and thus made the competitions worse.

This is entering Lucas territory here, but feel compelled to point out that Gapko’s movement towards MacAlister is what opened all that space for Nunez to run into for the third and made it a really simple ball for Mac to hit.

I think we are safe and can sub whomever. Sparta already cutting us apart but miraculously not scoring, so probably wouldn’t matter much (we are not going to make subs that make them better or us lose shape, our shape is already bad and they are already dominating us, so what the hell does it matter). Just keep Kelleher in goal, since he provides that omph and safety and keep scoring threats so we can counter in more goals.

Gakpo was alright. Except that one daft incident where he had the chance to pass multiple times.

Brighton getting beat 2-0 by Roma at HT… Villa 0-0 with Ajax

Emery shouldn’t come anywhere near the finals.

3-0 up and Crouchy is calling us sloppy

Bloody beanpole twat

Just Eastern European things….

Can’t for the life of me remember another game where the team playing sloppy football were up 3-0 at HT

16 goals and 27 G/A this season now for notorious flop Darwin Nunez.

Liverpool have triple the xG of Sparta, double the possession, double the number of shots, more shots on target… I’m not understanding the “Liverpool are lucky” vibe.

It’s almost like us having a goalkeeper is cheating somehow.

No one is denying Liverpool’s goals. Sparta probably should have had 2 goals atleast based on their play though. Some great saves and diabolical finishing that.

Joe’s out.

They’ve deserved that.

Quansah has really struggled all afternoon.

Probably the only way they could have scored.

good goal that from bradley…well placed in the corner

Great finish :upside_down_face:

Lovely finish.

Joe Gomez would have put that into Row Z

Like most of his shots

There is a level of disrespect towards the opposition in the criticism of a team that are winning big away from home.
