Yeah, read yesterday that Davy Klaassen is leaving Werder to go back to Ajax.
Grujic to Werder would then make sense… I think they still play a diamond formation, or at least numbers in midfield? That should be good for Grujic, he needs that.

There’s nothing announced on Werder’s hp yet , but if so I’d be delighted. He’s certainly the type of player we need if (very likely) Klaasen is leaving.
As far as formation is concerned - 442 diamond is a classic fallback at Werder since ever. There have been numerous experiments with formations and in a real match those shift a lot anyways , but Werder in any case plays a rigid Nr6 with 2 strikers upfront , which translates into the diamond formation most of times.

Not really. The Covid depression really impacts the BL. Our squad e.g. has become paper thin really , with a bunch of players retired or released after running their contracts down - there’s no budget and barely experienced players left aaand the obligation to buy Davie Selke for 15m IF we don’t get relegated this season… speak of catch22 … total own goal this
