Used to go to the Dockers club in Liverpool many years ago…
They had a two piece resident act upon the stage every Friday night… A guy playing a guitar, and a guy playing percussion on the drums… (They were really shite by the way).
The guy who played the guitar, his name was Thierry… Thierry Good was his full name.
His partner, had a more straightforward name… Billy.! Billy Norfolk
They were known as Norfolk & Good…! :0)
After a while, they brought a singer into the ensemble… Stevie.! Stevie Still.
Then they were known by their new name…
Still Norfolk & Good
Don’t really understand where they get the money from with their debt. That said, I also don’t understand the move, they could have had Origi for half that amount…
The debt is mainly long term (up to 30 years?) debt covering the cost of the hotel and stadium development (so not all drawn down yet), all at probably very low rates of interest which is probably going to cost them 20-30m a year in interest, which they can afford because of how much the club generates each year.
Look at it this way, Real Madrid lost about 300m euros due to covid and was still able to reduce the non hotel/stadium development net debt on the club from 240m euros to 46m.
