Think at least two of Origi, Minamino, Ojo, Phillips, Ox and (if there is a falling out and its not just twitter nonsense) Keita will still be sold. Karius will definitely leave but he won’t raise a fee or at least not much of one. Might turn the 41.5 into 42 if we’re lucky but doubtful.

Haven’t seen any rumours on this, so it’s probably nonsense. We’ve seen very little sign of anyone wanting to buy him so can’t imagine we now think a deal can be done. Given his injury record to date, I would think he would be glad to be rotated to keep him fresh for club and Country.
Maybe the way I wrote it was confusing:

Missed a trick with this kid, home grown, young, Prem proven, chip on his shoulder to prove Chelsea wrong and get one over on them. Cost Roma £36m would probably have cost us £5-10m more but would have been worth it!

I like him but as you say, he’s not worth £40+million and particularly not to us as he wouldn’t really suit the way we play.
