Summer Transfer Window 2022

Thing is they are a private equity company so slightly different to the situation you have at Newcastle.

Saying that the deal to buy them wiped any debt, so effectively they’ve got free money from anyone they sell.

He lost his place at Wolves because they’ve switched to a back two that he struggles in

Yeah that’s strange….why change the system when defensively you were as good as anyone in the league bar the top 2 last season.

Anyway it didn’t quite work out well for them on Saturday.

And I think you meant to say switched to a back 4 lad

Lots of Barca sources trumpeting the fact that Umtiti has today agreed to leave…and absolutely no details as to where. Anyone seen anything concrete?

i think he is just agreeing that he will leave - they have come to a financial agreement if they can find a club for him. thats what i take from it. nothing evidenced though

United to the rescue!

It looks like they are just Bobby Bonillaing everyone. As a player it is a deal I would be very cautious about taking because I’d be a least a little concerned on Barca’s potential to default before they fully paid it out.

Plus the fact that De Jong already signed a lesser version of that deal, and they are trying to subvert that one to walk away from it.

Ten years from now, when they are paying 40 year old players 3 million Euros a year using the cash flow left to them after selling off strips of future income, they could be absolutely crippled. it is genuinely sad to see what has become of a club that once had UNICEF as their shirt sponsor.
