Summer Transfer Window 2022

I think Cucurella is the one who might do a job maybe at LCB or in centre midfield if needed. Sort of like Aurelio did a few times.

Jordan Veretout from Roma to Marseille for £9.9m.
Maxwel Cornet from Burnley to West Ham for £18.6m.
Miguel Gutierrez from Real Madrid to Girona for £3.6m.

I dont see it confirmed anywhere, but amusingly Pacqueta’s wiki has been updated to say he’s a Newcastle player

not on the one I just looked at.

Lucas Tolentino Coelho de Lima (born 27 August 1997), known as Lucas Paquetá (Brazilian Portuguese: [ˈlukaʃ pakɛˈta]), is a Brazilian professional footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder for Ligue 1 club Olympique Lyonnais and the Brazil national team.

Ha, that was quick

So West Ham spent less than Everton did on McNeil for Cornet and yet Cornet was Everton’s main target :face_with_hand_over_mouth:

Cornet is a pretty smart pick up by West Ham.

Wasn’t this lad hyped up as one of the next big things to come out of Barca.

Understand Xavi didn’t seem to fancy him and he got in trouble for some leaked comments about Ferran Torres but I’m shocked he’s ended up in MLS in his early 20s and no one in Europe was willing to take a shot at him for nothing.

Pele is inevitable

He’s a good player who got games under previous managers, but has been overtaken by the next generation of kids who are even better than he is. Think of Lee Sharpe if if Utd subsequently produced 3 different versions of giggs.

He had plenty of options to stay in Europe, but chose to go to the MLS

Wild scenes here in the US coverage of the Everton-Chelsea game. They’re talking about people being surprised at McNeil being given the opportunity to step up the food chain and play for a big club. Did these commentators go to bed in 1987 and just wake up today?

Bafode Diakite from Toulouse to Lille for £2.7m.
Lautaro Blanco from Rosario to Elche for £1.7m.
Isco from Real Madrid to Sevilla on a free.
Sam Lammers from Atalanta to Empoli on loan.

What?

Contract at Real expired, signed for Sevilla on a free, 2-year deal.

Neto from Barcelona to Bournemouth on a free.

Romano reporting that Werner is f*cking off where he came from, permanent deal back to Leipzig.

£150m worth of strikers in Lukaku and Werner rejected after a year or so.

From an oligarch’s play thing, to being funded by Saudi Arabia (via Clearlake, who bought 60 per cent of Chelsea).

Money has never been an issue. $hitty have also shown the way (along with PSG) in how to trample all over FFP.

Guedes to Wolves done acc. to Romano, no surprise it’s a Portuguese player.

Coady going to Everton? WTF
