Summer Transfer Window 2023

With more and more rumours and confirmed deals, perhaps it’s time to have this thread ready, so we can post all updates here. Partly, might help us to know the market for our context as well, which players are not available anymore, or which are.

Here’s an interesting one to start off:

How come top clubs don’t want him anymore, stagnation?

Are you going to open another thread for confirmed deals?

I think we can continue like we used to. Use this thread for confirmed deals, rumours and just discussion about transfers in general.

Yeah, that was expected I think. We’ll see if there are other competition for his signature and how much money can Spurs get in the end.

What other strikers are there on the market who might complicate it?

I can see Oshimen ending up at PSG (Neymar moves to Chelsea so PSG move Mbappe full time to his preferred LW role and buy a striker) and that likely leaves Kane as the primary forward target for every other monied club who wants a striker. I think this is the summer it finally happens.

A possible option for us? Would he settle for a backup role (unless he already has something agreed, obviously)?

Crazy how two completely independent clubs - RB Leipzig and RB Salzburg do so much business together.

Two clubs that are of course totally independent.

I don’t know much about Seiwald but Šeško is the one to watch. In terms of playing style, he might be the most similar to Lewandowski when it comes to young(er) strikers out there.

Man Utd have Salford City defender Jacob Lara on trial. Not sure exactly how old he is but he spent some time on loan for work experience with Stalybridge Celtic earlier this season.
