Summer Transfer Window 2023

I was thinking he would be decent for a semi decent PL side.

Very odd move.

Romano:

EXCLUSIVE: Tottenham have reached an agreement with Manor Solomon on free transfer, here we go!

Medical tests booked for next week as Solomon has already accepted Spurs — waiting for deal to be signed.

Manor would join Spurs for free due to FIFA rules — Shakhtar Donetsk want clarity from FIFA on this.

Shakhtar CEO Palkin said weeks ago: “If he goes to Tottenham, we’ll deal with Spurs in court in this case. This is not fair in respect of our club”.

Solomon could be Spurs signing nr. 3 following Guglielmo Vicario and James Maddison.

??

Which are what exactly…

In order to protect foreign players and coaches who have left the territory of Ukraine or Russia due to the conflict and who do not wish to currently return in view of the circumstances, those players and coaches will have the right to unilaterally suspend their employment contracts with clubs affiliated to the Ukrainian Association of Football (UAF) or the Football Union of Russia (FUR) until 30 June 2024, provided that the clubs are duly informed of the suspension in writing by 1 July 2023.

Damn you!!

Nikola Moro from Dynamo Moscow to Bologna for €2.5m.
Erick Gutierrez from PSV to Chivas for €5.5m.
Luis Araujo from Atlanta to Flamengo for €9m.

Interesting that Tonali’s sale to Newcastle is now officially Milan’s record ever sale, just about beating the fee Real spent for Kaka.

It seems like there might be one more PL club less for Kelleher, Brighton have signed Bart Verbruggen for £16.3m.

I don’t think there any PL clubs in for Kelleher. He isn’t good enough to start in the PL, but hopefully we can trick someone into buying him.

I think right now, without overrating or underrating him, he is. He has proved it in a few high scenario situations, albeit from not a big sample. He wouldn’t be our #2 for a few years if he wasn’t. But when he makes the move, more truth will come out how good can he really be long term when he gets a couple of dozen games in a season. Then, we might find out more about his level. His buyer will also tell us a few things, although I hope it’s not when he enter his final year. If he doesn’t move this summer with 3 years left on his deal, it’s best for it to happen next summer. It doesn’t have to be a PL side of course. Might get EL group stage games this season as extra opportunities along with “his” League Cup.

Do you have any examples of when he really let us down? I’m struggling to think of any.
On the other hand, all our goalies since Clemence, including Reina, had the occasional howler.
